These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales (or Scotland/Northern Ireland, depending on your specific UK home country). Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
Payment Schedule: All bookings require a 50% deposit upfront to secure the date and service. The remaining 50% balance is due upon delivery of the final images.
Payment Methods: Payments must be made via Stripe web payment links provided by us. We do not accept cash or check.
Non-Refundable Retainer: 10% of the total booking fee is strictly non-refundable to cover administrative costs and holding the date.
Refund Window: The remaining refundable portion of your upfront payment will only be returned if you cancel with at least 3 days' notice before your scheduled session. Cancellations made with less than 3 days' notice forfeit the entire upfront payment.
Fulfillment: Print orders are fulfilled through third-party laboratories via Pixieset. Shipping timelines and product quality are subject to Pixieset’s partner labs.
Refunds: Because prints are custom-made to order, all sales are final. Damaged prints must be reported with photographic proof within 7 days of delivery for a replacement.
Work on commissions will only begin once the 50% upfront deposit is cleared.
The specific scope, timeline, and delivery parameters will be agreed upon during initial consultations.
Age Requirement: We exclusively provide portrait services to individuals aged 18 and older.
Mandatory Zoom Consultation: A pre-shoot Zoom meeting is required.
Time-Limited License: Commercial clients receive a 1-year time-limited license starting from the day of image delivery. Images may be used for standard marketing (website, social media, local promos) during this year. Usage beyond 1 year requires a renewal agreement and an additional licensing fee.
Turnaround Time: Final edited digital images will be delivered within 4 business days following the date of the shoot.
Gallery Access: Digital galleries are hosted via Pixieset. Clients retain access to their gallery until they have downloaded their files and ordered their desired prints, up to a maximum limit of 6 months from the delivery date. After 6 months, the gallery will be deactivated.
Client Rescheduling: You must provide a minimum of 3 days' notice if you need to reschedule your shoot.
Photographer Illness: If we must cancel or postpone a shoot due to illness or unforeseen emergency, the session will be rescheduled to a mutually agreeable date. In this event, you will receive a 10% discount applied to your total booking fee.
Copyright Ownership: Stefan + Camera retains ultimate, permanent copyright ownership of all images taken.
Portfolio & Marketing Right: By signing our service contract and agreeing to these terms, you grant us permission to use the captured images in our professional portfolio, website gallery, social media channels, and general marketing materials.
Image Restrictions: Delivered images are for your personal or specified business use only. You may not apply heavy filters, utilize AI alteration tools, or resell the images to third parties without express written consent.
